WORLD BUILDING ◎

World Building
Players are encouraged to add NPCs, locations, shops, monsters, and other details to the world. As long as nothing you add breaks the world or the plot, you can come up with and control general NPCs in your threads, make up monsters/wildlife in the area, have your character find jobs within various establishments, and even make up NPCs that might give your character a bit of trouble or hassle (or, conversely, lend them a hand!)

Guidelines
Submitting is optional. You don't need to make a formal submission before including a minor NPC, monster, or location in your threads. However, if you want to let others use or reference your creation in their threads and contribute to the game's setting, you can make a submission. Things you can submit or incorporate without mod permission include:
◎ Shopkeepers or innkeepers, roommates, housing hosts, and low-influence guards, clerks, or bandits.
◎ Monsters, animals, or flora that may or may not be dangerous, but can be reasonably killed or contained.
◎ Buildings suited to the city's description such as inns, stores, museums, libraries, markets, shrines, and modestly rented homes.
◎ Landmarks such as hot springs, small ponds, or statues

Contact the mods for: NPCs closely associated with mod-controlled NPCs or who hold positions of leadership; buildings that contain lore, have restricted access, or are of high importance; monsters that pose a significant and immediate threat to the population or major areas; and landmarks that greatly alter the map itself (i.e. mountain ranges, oceans).

Submission Forms
Each territory Setting page (Thorne, The Free Cities, Solvunn) contains a list of established NPCs and Locales for your use. The Bestiary is here.

The lists include both mod creations and player submissions. Don't feel as though mod-created items are any more "official" than player-submitted ones. They're only included for players to have a starting point to begin crafting their own ideas.

To make a submission, fill out and comment below with the appropriate form. Once approved, we'll add it to the right page. Please note the mod team may make adjustments where needed for length, clarity, or to maintain lore and plot accuracy.
