INFLUENCE ◎

Influence
Influence represents how well your character is known, as well as how developed an opinion people have of them based on their actions in their neighbourhood, city, territory and even beyond, if they make big enough waves. This system is designed to help both you and the mods gauge how NPCs are likely to respond to your character.

Influence is defined by the role characters play in the world (and/or the role you're hoping to have them play as you develop their story.) It is not a level-up system, and should not be treated as one. In fact, you can apply to reduce your influence if you wish, should that be something that factors into your character's plans.

Events and plots will rely on characters with influence on both ends of the scale. Having a low influence is not necessarily negative, and can even be beneficial. Low influence characters might have a higher chance at succeeding in espionage while characters with higher influence would be too recognizable. Conversely, higher influence characters might be able to open doors based on their reputation that would otherwise be closed.
Understanding Influence
What Influence Measures
Influence measures how your character is perceived among the NPCs and local population, for good or ill. Characters who earn enough influence might have their name spread to nearby city, while those who keep a lower profile might only be known around their neighborhood.

Gaining influence with a territory can mean things like the locals having a positive opinion of your character, shopkeepers offering discounts, or the local authorities trusting them more. Negative influence can land your character in hot water! It is currently not possible to play a character with largely negative influence above Rank 5, as they'll be deemed dangerous enough to be detained indefinitely. (A neutral or mostly positive Rank 5 with a few negative incidents is fine.)

Influence does not measure your character's reputation among fellow player characters. It's unlikely the natives of Abraxas will hear of what goes on between the Summoned. It also doesn't indicate how "well" you've been playing the game. Characters can engage deeply with the game's plot without gaining any influence, and influence won't guarantee success or failure with plots and NPC interactions - though it can sway outcomes depending on circumstance.
How to Gain Influence
Anything characters do that would get noticed by natives such as: interacting with NPCs, helping (or hindering!) during events, taking a job, committing crime or causing problems will increase your character’s influence - though it may not be considered positive.

Influence is typically gained for actions that are relatively public and noticed by the Abraxan natives. Characters who operate in secret may not gain much influence due to the nature of their actions even if they may have impacted the setting quite a bit from the shadows. Characters are also unlikely to gain influence for actions taken out of sight of the NPCs. Anything that occurs in the Horizon will likely go unheard of. Actions that occur outside of the character's chosen territory can spread home to their neighborhood, but whether it does and to what degree will depend on the action.

As influence increases, gaining additional rank will require more noticeable actions. Continuing to take on the standard quests or duties they're already known for will serve to maintain their reputation rather than adding to it. For example, characters at rank 6 will need to go out of their way to attract attention - intentionally or otherwise - outside their local area or city in order to attain rank 7.
How to Reduce Influence
Reducing influence is as possible as gaining it! Much like reputation in the real world, characters can fade somewhat from people's memories by keeping a lower profile for an extended period. This is useful for characters who gained a reputation they didn't mean to.

This also allows players more flexibility. Players who ranked their character up, but would now prefer to participate in opportunities that are largely open to lower rank characters, can apply to reduce their influence.

Rank gained will also play a role in how much a character's influence can be reduced. Characters who have reached the higher end of the scale (Rank 6-10) may need to wait longer to reduce their influence - and likely won't ever go back down to anything lower than a 3-5, unless a very long time passes.
What Negative Influence Involves
If your character is the sort to cause problems or maybe just wants to watch the world burn, that'll be noticed, as well. The influence system can also measure how much a character is disliked within their territory. Rocking the boat too much can lead to your character being imprisoned or worse.

Not to worry, though. While negative Influence will make an affected territory disinclined or even hostile towards your character, opposing territories are likely to take a different view. For example, causing trouble in Thorne is likely to get a seal of approval from the Free Cities, and a character with negative influence there may find they have positive influence in their new residence, if they are able to relocate.

Further, influence as a whole can include a combination of positive and negative actions - and may tip towards one end or the other as the game progresses. Players should keep track of their character's reasons for having the reputation they do.

Mods will also keep track of any negative attention characters gain, whether officially submitted or not. While we will not be formally recording if a character's influence is negative or positive on the tracker, keep in mind it is noted and will be applied accordingly where circumstances call for it.
What Each Influence Rank Means
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Level 0: Everyone starts at this level. While the officials involved with bringing you into the world might recognize you, the average citizen on the street has no idea who you are. You keep your head down and your nose clean. In exchange, you can exist in this world unnoticed and unbothered.
★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Level 1: Very easily achieved, even by accident! You're not from around here, and people can tell. Local authorities would've "seen you around," even if they don’t know anything about you. They'll probably give you a few minutes of time if asked. Expect curious looks from citizens who work or live close to where you were Summoned in, but not much reaction the farther out you go. You can still go about your life freely, with a blank slate.
★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Level 2: You've started putting yourself out there and making a little noise! Local authorities are looking at you a bit more closely and, if you've made a good impression, might be more inclined to meet with you and listen to what you have to say. Citizens in your neighborhood may know you as "the guy who did that thing." One or two locals might have enough familiarity with you to put in a good word if asked, such as recommending you to their neighbor as a reliable handyman or a baker of excellent cookies.
★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Level 3: Maybe you've been helping out the folks who brought you here. Maybe you've just been out in public and meeting as many locals as you can. Maybe you’re that weird hobo that people have started pointing out to each other on the street. Whatever you've done, more people are starting to notice you. Your local authorities not only know your face, they have a sense of what sort of person you are and what you do around the city. If they like what they see, they may start reaching out to you now and again. If they don't, you might find yourself given the occasional warning. At this level, you can apply for citizenship where you live (but you don't have to).
★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆
Level 4: You're really starting to make a name for yourself, for good or ill! The local authorities call you by your first name, and maybe even respect your opinion and what you have to say. Whether or not they agree, they're at least inclined to give actual consideration to your point of view. If you've been causing trouble, you may find yourself on the wrong side of the law. In either case, stories of whatever you’ve done to make you well known may start floating around your local haunts. Among the local citizens, your reputation's enough that folks might recommend your services or expertise to each other on their own (or warn one another about you, if you've been behaving poorly).
★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆
Level 5: You're pretty well known in your immediate area! You have a local reputation, and even if it doesn't extend across an entire kingdom, being known by your whole city neighborhood or small town is still pretty neat... unless you've achieved infamy. Individuals behaving badly this obviously and consistently will almost certainly find themselves imprisoned or worse. At this level, local citizens sometimes chat about you unprompted, and might vaguely recognize your name.
★★★★★★☆☆☆☆
Level 6: When you go out, you get noticed! You've probably done enough daring deeds and heroics for shopkeepers to be willing to offer discounts and special little perks. Strangers might buy you drinks. Your local authorities trust your opinion and likely expect your help when it's needed. There might even be some gossip about you around the neighborhood.
★★★★★★★☆☆☆
Level 7: You're a local celebrity at this point! Expect to be recognized as "that guy" when you go about your day. People know your face and name, and might stop on the street to point you out. Even folks in other cities or the far end of your territory have an idea of who you are and what you’ve done...though it may not be entirely accurate the further away you get. Chances are high you'll be granted a meeting if you reach out to officials - or they'll even reach out to you first.
★★★★★★★★☆☆
Level 8: Not only are you a local celebrity, stories and rumors about you are reaching beyond your territory. The world is starting to watch! And it’s well known that you have an "in" with local authorities. They value your opinion and aid, and you may be entrusted with important secrets and positions of leadership. You might even earn a title or public commendation.
★★★★★★★★★☆
Level 9: You’re practically a household name by now across the territory! You've definitely earned yourself a title. You're recognized and respected across your territory. People are writing songs about you and the local authorities rely on you. It's not all peaches and cream, though. Citizens of opposing territories now recognize you as an enemy, and free travel throughout enemy terrain is much more difficult when your face is so well-known.
★★★★★★★★★★
Level 10: You now have such a notable reputation that you are second only to the most influential figures in the world in terms of notoriety. You may be followed, worshipped, revered, feared, and actively targeted by your enemies. At this level, you have the freedom and power to achieve almost any goal you set your mind to.
Applying for Influence
You can request an update to your character's influence level at any time. Your character’s Influence level will be adjusted and recorded in the Influence Roster accordingly. How you approach the form depends on whether you're requesting to increase or reduce your influence level.
For Influence Gains
While minor supplmentary events can be handwaved, we typically want to see in-game examples of your character performing the action you're using for influence. For high ranks in particular, the threads should be somewhat substantial. Threads don't need to play out the act itself. Events can be referenced within another thread instead. For example, rather than writing a thread of your character literally selling a flashy invention to some local NPCs, you can submit a thread of your character revealing their new invention to a friend or telling them about it.

Both quantity and the action itself is important. A single noticeable action can rank your character up as much as a handful of smaller actions. In some cases, we may make a decision to incorporate events not included that'll help boost you to a rank you're requesting if what you've submitted isn't enough. We'll let you know if that happens. In other cases, we might simply ask you to try again. Don't worry if so! There are no consequences to not reaching the rank up threshold, nor is it a reflection of your activity or participation - it just means you need more actions that suit the rank you're requesting.
For Influence Reductions
Because reducing influence is about inaction, you do not need to link thread proofs, though you can do so if your character has done anything that'd help them rank down, such as cutting their hair, taking on a new disguise, or even moving to a new city. Time passing without any incidents (positive or negative) will be weighed most heavily.

When applying to reduce influence, please note how much in-game time has gone by since your character's last noticeable act. This includes acts that you may not have submitted for influence directly, but which would likely be noticed by the general public.

Each character in the game starts at Rank 0. To request an increase or decrease, fill out the form below and reply to the comments section.

Character Name: Tifa Lockhart
Territory: Solvunn
Requested Rank: 1-2? Whichever you think is best!
Reasons for Request:
- Shortly after arriving, Tifa saved a child from a collapsing roof that was made unstable by the recent storms. She also participated in gutting some pumpkins for the giant crop picnic.
- Per Wanda's recommendation, she's living with one of the Primary Settlement's teachers (who I've named "Matilde"). This was originally going to be a temporary thing, but they get along and so Tifa has stayed to help around her house where she can.
- She attended the Summer Equinox festival and met with some local brewers.
- During the Overthrow event, she followed Matilde's instructions and escorted a group of children to the safety of the ritual site. While there, she helped with the pest problem, both by culling ones who were too much of a danger and trapping others per the elders' request (same link).
- She helped Arthur to entertain some children while they were stuck at the site.
- After they left the site in the second week of the event, she was recruited to help with batch cooking for the influx of people from the woods (mentioned here). She also helped Ed with spreading mushroom dust to cleanse the lake (same link).
- She's been recruited to work at Ed's inn as a bartender, so she's doing that now as her day night job.
- She's got a couple quests I'm working on, but I'll return with those when they're complete!

Character Name: Teddy Roberts
Territory: Solvunn
Requested Rank: 1? 2? Whatever you think works.
Reasons for Request:I haven't updated Teddy's influence since they got here since I'm always a little tentative about what "counts" by way of things mentioned in the background, but it seems like they should be well enough known around the settlement by now for both good and random reasons:

General:
• Regularly picks up medicinal tea (with extra ritual blessing, iirc) to control their seizures
    • Teddy is always friendly and polite to whoever provides it; if that person would be happy to talk, they'll pick up things about their life, ask about them, offer to help if they look overwhelmed, etc. (They're like this at home with their pharmacist too.)
    • Conversely, while they haven't had any tonic-clonic (convulsive) seizures in Abraxas, and the tea controls their seizures as well as their medication did, they have had a scattering of focal seizures over the last few months, so sharp-eyed Solvunnites may notice there's something funny about them
• (I don't know if their general tendency to dress and socialize androgynously would attract attention or not.)

Event 18 and Between-Events:
• After Event 18 ended, Teddy was keen to keep themself busy however possible: helping with kids, running errands, fixing flood damage, etc
    • They also told Jack they'd ask around if it was possible anyone was left behind, or anyone showed up unexpectedly in Solvunn, and did as casually as possible (mentioned in the same thread, can't remember where the original network post is)
• They took part in the singing and drum circles at Midsummer and generally love to join in when there's music.
    • (Also relevant to that thread, were actively engaged with and interested in the Conclave Representative speeches, though I don't know if the NPCs care about that)

Event 19 and Between-Events:
Continued to watch out for their downstairs neighbors' family and keep children with their parents, especially, while evacuations were going on
While underground, helped as much as possible, including coming up with a way to scare off the mole rats with acoustic vibration, making little drawstring-bag mittens for little ones so they don't scratch, playing songs to keep morale up, keeping watch, etc.
• After the event, helped a local luthier with his already-sad-from-the-storms gardens (and maay have figured out some of their ability to that effect is hanging around) and continues to help him out.

July Quests:
Hunted Leviathans with Achilles and Nanaue
Helped with gathering wood for Winifred, and also other funeral preparations and extending care to the community at this time.

Whew, that's it! It's mostly little helping-NPC stuff, but they've been very much making sure they're seen as someone you can ask for help.

Thank you! That's absolutely reasonable!

Just as a point of clarification - and I'm sorry, this really is a stupid question - is this just referring to the threads where the influential action is being played out (ie, in this instance, the ones with Wrench [although since Wrench got dropped ;_; can't continue that one], Arthur with the acoustic vibrations, and the July Quests) and are the other background mentions of things Teddy's doing fine
OR
should I only submit a thread for influence if someone tags and we actively talk about the action?

I don't want to over-use "characterizing Teddy as doing things in the background" if that's not how this is supposed to work! But I also don't want to under-submit if it's okay to do what I did with submitting, say, the first of the Event 18 threads (describing them doing a lot around the settlement, but no one tagged in) or the link re: the luthier (where they're really just talking to Steve, but how they got the guitar they're carrying is in the narration).

Either is totally cool, just wanted to make sure I'm doing this right! LMK :)

That's completely fair and I appreciate the thorough explanation! I want to also be totally clear I have no objection, and I'm sorry if it came off like that at all! I can ask a lot of rules-y questions sometimes '>_>

I totally DO need (and want!) to get in there in terms of tagging and also general engagement. Hopefully I'll be back with more soon!

Character Name: Nebula
Territory: Solvunn
Requested Rank: 3?
Reasons for Request:
Not too much this time, but I thought maybe it'd get to at least 3! If not I will continue working on things:

Event 18:
1. Helped to escort people to safety.
2. Looked after their wellbeing by trying to help pass out food and supplies as needed while in the bunker.
3. Tried to eat at least one molerat but largely helped in planning capture methods as per the Elders requests (1 | 2.
4. In the second week she does actually participate in trying to get the gods help at least a little (progress). And was a reluctant teacher in an entourage of local kids wanting to learn to knife throw - This one has no responses, so I understand if it doesn't count!
She also attended the meeting and tried talking to others.

Post event.
1. Went on a "fishing trip" with Rocket and Himeka where they caught a Big One and cooked it as a giant bbq for any Solvunnites. The quest itself is still early, but one thread is about the aftermath!
2. Tried to introduce more Newbies to Solvunn. One such time being helping with another getting asked to offer to a shrine and "helping" (it's Nebula this wasn't intentional).
3. Not sure how much it counts for, but she did speak out/become a Solvunn rep! And has otherwise continued the same business she has.

Character Name: Nanaue
Territory: Solvunn
Requested Rank: 5-6?
Reasons for Request:
-Part of Aloy's monster hunting squad (for now)!!
-Unintentional dick(s) measuring contest at the Epulum
-Helped Julia with upkeep on Endborrin's shrine during the wind storms.
-Went willingly and happily to the Singularity to appease the storms for Event 18
-Returned from the Singularity with the ability to make feety fish, many of which follow him around.
-Went looking for Xeimer and after visiting his shrine with gifts he received a favor in the form of a bipedal baby seal.
-Showed his new Baby off everywhere, including Nocwich. Generally talks about Xeimer a lot and continues to visit his shrine with gifts.
-While in the underground he ate rats. When everyone returned to the surface and went to fortify the beach he helped encourage others to do the same!
-Assisted Claire with her archaelogy dig. One outer wall of his shack now has a beautiful mosaic.
-Fought a leviathan with Teddy and Achilles (in progress)
-... ate at least two people during the Herald afflictions. Also killed some sheep :(

Character Name: Kyle
Territory: Thorne
Requested Rank: 8
Reasons for Request:

-Went with Istredd and Sabine to the Singularity during the Dimming last year, although possibly only known to Ambrose.

-During the Island Investigation he helped with purification efforts and removing remains. He voted to burn the island and later went to witness it.

-In January he teamed up with Cassian to investigate illegal necromancy, tracing one such spell to a gang of kids in Nott. They didn't turn them in, but they did trace the source to a (random npc) mage in Castle Thorne town.

-Collaborated with Viktor to get bikes made for his couriers in Thorne. went on a joyride on a prototype with him in Nocwich.

-Regaled the Ikorrans at the Epulum with tales of fighting the Anomolous Beasts (and showing off his cool scars) as a distraction for Thancred to do investigating. He also briefly got acquainted with Deputy Sentinel Soraya during the investigations.

-After production finished, officially introduced bicycles to Castle Thorne (and sometimes Nott). Both couriers and other Summoned have been seen around the city riding them. Also was seen meeting with Ambrose around this time to talk about relics.

-Was seen manhandling Jack Townsend back to his room after an incident with Ambrose.

-Received a tip about something going down right before coup night. Decided to stay behind and stalked the king until wards blocked him from seeing or stopping the assassination. Protected staff during the rush to the safe room. Unable to help with the wards he entertained the teens with his singing and distributed goodberries, now renamed Sweetberries. Also with Dion stopped a tussle between some of the stablehands and the guards.

-Ditched the coronation to do runes in Nott. Ended up in jail for questioning with Istredd, spent a month there.

-Spoke with the new King when he was released, reinstated as an official courier.

-During the War Herald afflictions he helped rescue lost sailors/recover bodies in Borrel. Also assisted with Thorne's retreat from the Badlands.

Character Name: Cidolfus Telamon
Territory: Free Cities
Requested Rank: 4 or 5?
Reasons for Request:
- Helped out with the evacuation and then around the bunker (repairs and tending the infected) during the attack on Cadens. He also helped fix the pump at the family compound in the aftermath.

- Completed a quest with Geralt to deliver supplies to a military outpost and equipped them with a backup battery of his own design.

- Worked with a bunch of the Summoned as well as local businesses to offer an apprenticeship program to some of the younger miners in at the Farhill Mining Camp.

- Gathered a team of Summoned to successfully capture the re-spawning morbol terrorizing the badlands and then kill it in the aftermath of the event.

Character Name: Jack Frost
Territory: Solvunn
Requested Rank: Whatever is appropriate for his first rank!
Reasons for Request:

-JOBS: Jack has been helping in many ways, but there are three main ones: helping the fishermen by controlling the wind on their sails and keeping any pirates/creatures at bay; making fast deliveries between settlements thanks to his flying; and babysitting. The first two are handwaved, but the third one is his favorite and the one he does the most: top level on the tdm (Nagato and Julia replied to that prompt) - giving the kids priority when giving out popsicles and telling Tifa about his babysitting. If the NPC Ava Lund wants stories for the kids, he'll always be there to share with the class.

-He's brought a few new ideas: kids were taught to make piñatas. Jack's been giving out popsicles and snow cones to anyone that asks (in the mingle and handwaved the rest of the month), he also visits Tifa to frost the cocktails glasses (discussed in the subthread and handwaved for the rest of the month). He makes ice slides for the kids, no worries he destroys them at the end of the day (discussed with Nanaue here)

-Painted a mural with Eddie at the inn

-Helped Cloud catch a rebel goat

-Searched for the missing kids every night (his top level, and a mention on Rita's thread)

-He's started to wear Solvunn clothes (these are mentioned in every event thread) and wore the war paint on his face during the whole event (also mentioned in all the event threads). He helped with the decorations and tried to convince everyone to use more soot instead of salt. :') (top level, mention in the Daisy thread)

-Handed in his first motion!

Extra note: I know there isn't a Nocwich section here, but I thought I should mention this just in case. Jack has played a few very minor pranks there, mostly to other summoned characters. There hasn't been any damage, but he's annoyed a couple of sellers when he trolled Iris and Wilhelm by telling them to watch out for spooky werewolf stuff. He also made a big ice slide for Iris, but he got rid of it pretty quickly.

Character Name: Jon Snow
Territory: Thorne
Requested Rank: 5
Reasons for Request: Essentially, I feel that a lot of his actions since his last bump would probably have increased his reputation with the Crown, the Navy (which is closely linked with the Crown right now), and around Castle Thorne. The mill thing might even have made him a little better received in Nott. This is basically intended as a last bump before endgame stuff related to some plot engagement requests I'm putting in, in case it helps with those.

June 2024: Coup:
- Helped various people on the way to the basement and once there, with Sansa, Jinora, and Zoya
- Istredd taught Jon a force spell that he subsequently used to break up several fights
- Jon told some stories of the North to try to entertain people (mentioned in his second tag at that link)
- Attended the coronation (I actually included just this single thing in his last submission, but I'm noting it here because it's part of the chronology)

July/August 2024: Quest: Captured new war horses for the Crown with Mat

August 2024: Went to the mill and out on the rescue ship. Countered Koth's influence by interceding with sailors and workers along the lines of his God AU assignment (where he was a leadership god who was pretty much specifically tasked with inspiring people to, themselves, become inspiring leaders -- or he could afflict them with a big charisma debuff if he wanted). (These are short; I had covid with complications, but the threads will continue if the other players are into it! That part is completed, though.)

September 2024: Went out with Kyle, Nikolai, and Zoya to retrieve bodies from August's sunken ships; confronted and helped kill a leviathan. It was kind of ambiguous in the thread whether or not there were any other crew on the ship, but if there were, Jon was seen giving his sword to Nikolai, briefly taking the wheel of the ship, fireballing the leviathan in the face, and producing a magic sword. Regardless, it's known they killed a leviathan, retrieved bodies for respectful burial, and brought the ship back in one piece. He also returned with leviathan scales that have magical properties.

Early October 2024: Successfully hunted a torcainse in the Nocwich forest with Daemon Targaryen. They were very pleased with themselves and brought their quarry back to Oleuni Square. (This thread is still ongoing but this seems the best time to submit it. I figured that if any Thornean guards were standing around in the square, they might have been impressed.)

Character Name: Lucifer
Territory: Thorne
Requested Rank: 7
Reasons For Request: last request 2/12/24

Not??? Sure if I actually have enough overall between Hayle/Nott/Borrel but might as well try. If not I'll keep pushing via Borrel.

- Checking on Mace's dogs as the storms start to kick up.

- In Nott, distracting children instead of working and keeping them out of trouble with flute music. When the storms worsened he did start actually helping with the heavy-lifting ((ICly mentioned in the thread below)).

- Had a very loud fight with Istredd in Castle Thorne and resisted the initial Singularity Roundup to get his own locked carriage. He broke the arm of one guard and roughed him up some, but knowing the other guard and that they were unprepared to flee Thorne this soon, he chose not to commit Murder. After being restrained he slid into despondency, even on his walk to the crater. He was very subdued after the event.

- Checking in with Mace redux now that Sidwell has moved in.

- Putting a lot of focus on fixing the castle gardens with his free time. He is NOT offering any training for the castle guards and notably straight-up avoiding them.

- Attended Sidwell's coronation in full support. ((IC talking briefly to Wilhelm about the coronation/Sidwell/Mace)). Congratulated the new High Mage and offered his services to him if he was needed.

- Off Borrel, during event #20 boarded a boat with Cassian in hopes of a more practical rescue. Lucifer went to attempt the tracking spell on sea, though was pulled way.

- During event #20 he helped strategize near the front lines (so that he could spread the influence of the gods). ((ICly mentioned narratively in a several threads but never talked about. The closest would be talking with Kyle about war/Zorne in general.))

- Off Borrel, along with a native captain, Kyle, River, and Thancred, Lucifer helped in (reluctantly) retrieving bodies and pieces of the ship from the Solvunn waters. (Truly he went to scope out the shore/waters without there being turbulence but with the presence of a native he was Helping). And aided in murdering a hungry beast.

- In Thorne, escorted a group of children that were transfixed with their dolls along with Istredd. (quest)

Character Name: Istredd
Territory: Thorne
Requested Rank: 7
Reasons for Request:

Before the AU, Istredd threw his normal mingle but he included the group going to Nott to assist them in the storm fixing. He announced in the ballroom that they would be going to Nott to help fix up the docks and fishing boats. He was in Nott when the storm worsened, still trying to help them, but was forced back to the castle. He assisted in the hospital project Rhy had.

Lucifer violently refused to go into the crater. Istredd was there to calm him down and escorted him tied up to the crater and willingly went into it himself.

After the return from the AU, Istredd went back to Nott to further assist with clean up and he took over Rhy's hospital project to see if they were continuing their work now that the storm was over.

During the Coup, Istredd worked very hard on getting the doors open and talked to a variety of people, training others on how to do it. He was one of the last people in there because he was trying to make certain everyone got safely into the saferoom before him. He helped create a potion for purifying the water and taught others how. (That's all in the link above.)

Istredd attended the coronation.

Istredd was then jailed with Kyle for almost two weeks regarding the previous knowledge they got. He was a little sassy with the guards which is why they kept him.

Istredd met with Mace to ask him for permission to continue his studies into the Singularity and expressed a willingness to work with the new regime.

During the Advent event, he volunteered to go after the naval warship in Borrel. Despite being visibly sick and hating boats, he wanted to assist them. Despite his magic being on the fritz, he did his best to rescue who they could. He also went to the Lumber Mill to help clear minds and protected from Madrleags although his magic continued to be on the fritz. He led them away from the civilians.

Lucifer and Istredd did a quest and he helped remove the spell that was on the children with the dolls.

Character Name: Claude von Riegan
Territory: Free Cities
Requested Rank: 7, hopefully!
Reasons for Request: Last request from May 2023 (sorry it's been so long...)

● During the Anomalies event, used the Thunderjaw as target practice with Dean outside of Formahault, supported Abby in her defeat of the Rancor alongside Jesper and Ciri, fought the Faust with Jaskier and Geralt at the mines, and supported Sylvain in his defeat of the dragon with Hilda (including likely having been seen rushing her to the hospital with a CW there for mentions of injuries). He might have been partially responsible for the destruction on the Red Path as a result of that battle, and also was the mysterious subject of a song by a famous bard which made the rounds!

● Passed out curios with Jayden to an orphanage in Libertas, after which they also participated in the kids' play.

● Served as a delegate to the Nether on the Free Cities' behalf with Nadine, and they were successful in bringing back the soil to Portam Hall with the hopes it'll assist local agriculture.

● With Hilda, Sam Wilson, and Sylvain, chatted up merchants and other benefactors for a plan to help restore the Red Path after the rifts with help from the Free Cities Summoned, and some of the Nether's soil.

● Has been working with Viktor on a small scale irrigation project in hopes of eventually putting this to use for a bigger cause within the Free Cities, and experimenting with different plants/tracking their growth for the project (and including a few plants brought to/used in the Red Path restoration, for science)

● After Jayce's disappearance, offered to assist Viktor with his workshop and became manager of Aquila operations and has continued working for him since.

● During Wintertide, headed up the Aquila side of the Rio Enterprises Open House under Viktor's directions and along with Astarion introduced himself to Fallon Marsh, and served as a model for Hilda and Jesper's fashion debut in both wearing outfits around the cities and to the Aquila galas.

● Served as a representative for the Free Cities conclave from April 2023 through June 2024 (roughly for both start and stop dates), and supported the motion to assist the minor miners along with Steve Rogers and Astarion, plus with consultation from Viktor, Cal Kestis, and Sam Wilson

● Answered The Doctor's call for assistance in helping put on plays for/within orphanages around the Free Cities

● In the January 2024 quests, teamed up with Istredd and Nanaue as part of the cross faction cooperation on an escort mission to bring bodies from the island to Luna where they fought some monsters on the way. Also delivered letters from Portam Hall with Sylvain to families back in the Free Cities.

● Helped rescue kids trapped in scrap metal with Vash

● In the June 2024 event, assisted at the military compound with healing the injured, entertaining the kids within the bunker to help keep tensions low(er), attempted to catch the pigeon

● Delivered medical supplies and murdered a few bandits during the July 2024 quest with Astarion and Jaskier, and also made multiple trips including one with Ciri (referenced here)

● During the old gods' return in August 2024, assisted in organizing behind the scenes of Sylvain's command post in keeping Libertas safe (log thread here), assisted Cid with the assembly of the morbol trap and in trapping it out in the desert, and removed basilisks from a school alongside Ciri.

● Involved with Cid's apprenticeship program by helping some of the minor miners find jobs with his merchant friends
