OOC INFORMATION
Player Name:
Are you over 18?: Abraxas will have adult themes, so you must be at least 18 to play here.

Other Characters in Game: Currently played characters only. If this will be your first or only remaining character, just put 'none' or 'n/a'.
IC INFORMATION
Character Name:
Canon:
Canon Point:
Age: Characters must be 14 or older
Background: A wiki link is fine if you have one, otherwise give us an overview of their history (and a brief description of their world if they're an original character).
Arrival Scenario: Which territory will your character be arriving into?
Suitability: We're primarily looking for the answer to the following question: Would your character be able to engage with the game's plot? This section doesn't have to be long, but we'd like to see sufficient detail on how you feel your character would interact with the world and the aspects of their chosen territory. You could tell us some personality traits that would allow your character to get involved (ex: they're power-hungry, intellectually curious, or willing to follow orders), give us some examples of how they were involved in their canon's plot, or tell us what they might want to be involved in here (just hypothetically, your answers here don't lock you into anything).
Some examples of plot elements you could engage with are: aiding one of the three main territories in the war (or trying to sabotage them from the inside), recruiting one of the neutral territories for the war effort, researching the Singularity and the old gods, trying to find a cure for the disease in Fomalhaut, discovering the ruins of Tornis, mapping the Nether for the first time, trying to assassinate that one NPC that was a real jerk to your character, and so on. Anything of that sort that intrigues you now or in future events can be explored and will count as plot engagement whether your character is successful or not!
Abraxas is a plot-heavy game that will contain conflict and dark themes. While individual elements of the plot can be opted out of according to player comfort, you will not be able to opt out of participation in the plot as a whole. Completion of this section is also an acknowledgement that you as a player are aware that plot engagement will be expected of you.
Powers: A list of powers your character has with a brief description of each one. While characters can keep most canon powers, to reasonably retain an even playing field, we do ask that that you grant some consideration into how abilities may affect the setting and other characters, and describe how you plan to self-moderate any powers that are particularly powerful when detailing the scope of your character's abilities. This may include but is not limited to opt-ins/opt-outs, restricting certain aspects of a power, removing a power altogether, and/or external factors that may prevent a character from using certain abilities (such as morals, lack of control, fear of discovery, or similar). Additionally, we may adjust powers further as needed.
PERSONALITY QUESTIONS
There is no minimum or maximum wordcount for these sections as long as you are able to provide us with a complete answer.
Describe an important event in your character's life and how it impacted them. Some examples of this could be: being given a quest, meeting a specific person, or suffering a particularly bad defeat.
Does your character have a moral code, or other set of standards they try to live by? A brief description is fine, but try to give us something more specific than "it changes depending on the situation". This doesn't have to be a good or righteous set of values, so if your character actively tries to do harm to others, that still counts. If your character is amoral or without standards, tell us about that!
What quality or qualities do they admire most? Is this a quality they themselves have, something they wish they had, or something they like to see in others?
Do they have a part of themselves they dislike? A trait or habit they wish they could change, something they're in denial about or afraid of, etc.
What is their sign, and why? You must choose a single sign; the mods will not pick between signs for you. Remember, you don't need to pick the best fit as long as the sign you choose still fits!
SAMPLES
Samples: Provide links to two individual threads that both have at least five comments from your character (or a top-level post you wrote with at least nine comments from your character in the replies). Please try to submit samples that are reasonably up to date. Samples older than 5 years are likely too old.
At least five of your ten comments must be from in-person/log threads. The rest can be either log or network samples. Samples can be from our TDM, other games, or museboxes/memes as long as your character is being played as they are in canon (AU memes, crack scenarios, and TFLN threads are likely not appropriate).
