Is there electricity, for example? Steam powered vehicles of any sort? Ice boxes? I'm just trying to understand how far from modern-ish conveniences they still are, and how much wiggle room there is for interpretation.

Also, is it entirely machinery and science-based, or is any magic mixed in? Since they don't prefer to rely on magic, but there are still many in the city who practice it, I was wondering if there's a clear divide or if there is a mix of the two, such as magitech powered by both? thanks in advance!
