Hello! The shame would be more about their failure to keep the Summoned and their neighbors safe. Solvunn locals are highly devoted to the greater community and the Summoned are very important to them, so they would shoulder some of the blame by default. Beyond that, Solvunn often has a tendency to avoid discussing the darker aspects of life for fear they may offend or draw unwanted attention from the Gods.

They would be willing to discuss more soothing memories of their loved ones. Many who are in the Tertiary Settlement, where most of the totems will be going, are outcasts. Either they didn't fit well into the Primary and Secondary Settlement, or they were banished as a result of committing a crime or offence in the eyes of the Gods (a judgment that's passed through the Council). Therefore, the majority of them don't have a long family history.

However, a few families have willingly settled in the Tertiary Settlement and made it their own over several generations. One such family is the Creed family, to whom Josselyn belonged. Scott Creed remains the only surviving member in Solvunn, while his brothers are in Thorne and the Free Cities respectively.

You're welcome to make up one or two other families that Wrench might come across. Most would be fishing families or some other form of hard labor since the Tertiary Settlement has few farms and livestock. They would not express resentment for being part of the Tertiary Settlement, and would be proud of their traditions. They would also maintain that the Solvunn community looks after them. They believe it's their duty to ensure the Tertiary Settlement thrives so that those who are unable to coexist in the other settlements can have a place belong, and where they can continue to devote themselves to the Gods.
