Hello mods!! Sorry if this is the wrong avenue to ask this, but let's say hypothetically a character wears a prosthetic leg, and someone from another faction made them a new prosthetic leg and gave it to them in Nocwich.

Would it be possible to smuggle that prosthetic back across faction borders to Thorne, if he just kind of... took off the other leg and swapped them out and just walked back through the portal with the new one, or would officials be on High Alert for that kind of thing? To what extent is contraband or tech like that scrutinized?
