Hello! Referencing background actions is fine, but we do ask that players have an overall sufficient level of engagement with the setting and other players when submitting for influence or other plot-related items.

We typically gauge the overall submission. For example, if one or two of your links were short (due to dropped characters or otherwise) but the rest were more substantial, that would be completely acceptable. However, in this case, we found that the majority of the threads could use a little more to them. A few of the threads were started recently so it's understandable they're in the early stages. All that would be required here is that those threads be given a bit more time to progress before they're used for submission.

In short, we primarily want to see that most of the threads submitted have been reasonably sustained and played out. The higher the rank requested, the more important this becomes, as well as having more actions that take place in the foreground than background.

We hope this helps!
